This collection of tracks was, in fact, never meant to be an album, as every single one of these pieces has been written as a completely independent and self-sufficient story — hence the name — that does not necessarily have to coexist with the others. But as it often happens, when you zoom out far enough you see the structure. And this was the case with the Short Stories.

One year after finishing my music studies in California and moving to Saxony, changing cultures and languages, I paused and took a look at the musical diary that I have been keeping — and suddenly it felt cohesive enough to make sense for at least someone else out there. This is why I decided to go ahead, redo the arrangements, remix and remaster tracks, and today I'm presenting you the results: the report of my second expedition into the vast lands of crossover instrumental styles, sparsely populated by wild supersaws, crushed violin samples and orphan piano delays.

These are the short observations that I made as I was transitioning from one chapter of my life to the next one. Hope you’ll like them!
