about

Second studio LP by the Post-britpop duo titled after a rare neurophysiological phenomenon commonly known as "Cassette tape dream". Cassette tape dream happens when human brain accidentally runs out of visual material in the middle of the night, causing the person to wake up and literally flip sides to be able to fall asleep again (thus invoking the '79 Walkman analogy). The moment between sudden awakening and going back to sleep is used by the consciousness to quickly generate new dream material, which is why most patients experience the feeling of extreme clarity and timelessness that they tend to remember for a lifetime.

This album is a collection of precious moments we tried to catch and turn into songs during our year-long musical trip from the first big release in 2016 to this very moment. This time we decided to not to invent a new style to label it: let's just say we're the same guys you've once met in 2014. Only now there's whole Atlantic ocean between us.

I was a drummer in an indie band, after that I started a solo trip hop project which uncontrollably turned into a post-britpop duo as I was joined by an uber talented guitarist. Later on, I moved to Mars where I learned to play piano and started writing dance music for low-gravity worlds. It would probably be easier to just listen. ... more
