This EP is a result of piano studies that I've started back in California where I was furthering my skills in music production and continued as I moved to Germany — until it finally felt like I can more or less clearly express something that I've been wanting to say for a long time without hiding the main story under the layers of arrangement as I always used to do. So I did what I thought was appropriate: recorded the piano-only EP.

I could have talked about each track's backstory, but there is only so much about music that you can put into words. This is part of the reason why I have also decided to collaborate with very talented nature photographer Anton Ilinski who meticulously selected and provided some of his stunning works for the piano sheet music book that is included in your download.

There's also a short film for this EP that features the acoustic version of Arrivals and Departures, you can watch it here:
